Lindsay Klinkefus and Alex Kenyon of Coralville exchanged wedding vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 10. Marsha Acord and Paul Shultz officiated at the ceremony, which took place at the Coralville Marriott in Coralville.
Parents of the couple are Mark and Marci Klinkefus of West Union and Tim and Barb Kenyon of Creston.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a white satin fit-and-flare bridal gown with a removable train. The strapless sweetheart neckline was adorned with crystal beading. The fitted upper part of the gown featured asymmetrical ruching that led to three-dimensional floral details highlighting the detachable, ruffled, lower skirt. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of vanda orchids, mini green hydrangeas, orange spray roses, and purple stock flowers.
Heather Bentley and Chad Ries of Manchester wish to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Parents of the couple are Barry and Peggy Bentley of Fayette and Clyde and Barb Ries of Delaware, Iowa.
After her 2006 graduation from North Fayette High School, Heather earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids in 2010. She is employed as a registered nurse at Regional Medical Center of Manchester.
Chad graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School in 2005 and earned his degree in dairy science from Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar in 2007. He is employed by Engelken Dairy Farm in Earlville.
A 2 p.m. wedding is planned for Saturday, Nov. 2, in Delhi.
