Danielle Miller of East Bristol, Wis., and Mitchell Nesvik of Ossian, are pleased to announce their engagement and approaching marriage.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gary and Michele Meyer. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University in Davenport and currently is employed by Achieve Therapy, specializing in pediatric physical therapy.
The groom-to-be is the son of Ron and Donna Nesvik and has obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University in Davenport as well with a specialty license in orthopedics. Mitchell is employed by Mayo Clinic.
The couple plan to exchange vows Saturday, Sept. 28, in East Bristol, Wis.
Dayna Gossling of Waucoma and Kyle Soukup of Spillville are excited to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage on Saturday, Sept. 7, at St. Mary’s Church in Waucoma.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ken and Connie Gossling of Waucoma. She is a 2009 graduate of Turkey Valley High School and a 2012 Wartburg College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Dayna is currently employed as a clinical allergy specialist at Madison County Medical Associates in Winterset.
The groom-to-be is the son of Doug and Betty Soukup of Spillville and a 2007 graduate of South Winneshiek High School. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in finance and is employed as an operations analyst at Wells Fargo in West Des Moines.
John and Stephanie Michael of Hawkeye are excited to announce the birth of their second child, Josie Ann Michael, who was born July 22, 2013, at Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union. She weighed 9 lbs. 4 oz. and was 21 inches long at birth.
Josie joins her big brother, Jack, at home.
Maternal grandparents are Matt and Kathy Gordish of Oelwein. Paternal grandparents are Roger and Karen Michael of West Union.
Maternal great-grandparents are Alberta Heitland of Oelwein and the late Jim Baker, Forest Heitland, Andy and Eunice Gordish. Paternal great-grandparents are Elizabeth Heiserman of Independence and the late Roger Heiserman, Ted and Agnes Michael.
